In Baton Rouge, Galentine’s Day is arguably a bigger deal than Valentine’s Day with so many local businesses taking the opportunity to bring people together. At TBR Books and Tea, the Galentine’s Day tea party was an opportunity to come together, browse the bookstore and see what else is going on in Baton Rouge’s newest local independent bookstore space.
At $35, the event tickets are a little bit of a splurge, especially if you buy books while there, but for a home baked spread of goodies and good time, it was nice. Hopefully in the future, the tea parties expand to include activities to get people talking beyond the groups that they came in with. Here’s how it went:
